The month of April has been challenging and full of blessings.

John has two job offers one with a starting salary of over $40,000.00 a year as an Assistant Site Supervisor, and he has gotten his license.

​

Steve has gotten his picture I.D. and Birth certificate; he has also saved up enough money to get his Driver’s license back and Lord willing will have it by the end of this week. He also got a job offer with the company he has been working for a while through a Temp Service, and will almost double his income. What’s most amazing about Steve is his love for Christ. He is an ex-gangbanger, drug dealer, and addict, and numerous other adjectives that could describe his previous life before he surrendered to Jesus Christ. Now he wants to love people and tell them about Jesus.

Dave M. was an alcoholic and has cirrhosis of the liver and was almost dead when he came here. Now he is sober, has a warehouse job making good money, and has renewed his relationship with Christ.

​

Each of us is a stone building that has been rejected by both society and mainstream religious organizations, yet Christ didn’t and neither do I.

​

For the month of April, the house brought in less than $2,000.00, and our outgoing expenses include $700.00 for van payment/insurance, house payment of $950.00, power of $350.00, gas of $738.00, $225.00 for coil pack and spark plugs, $50.00 for an oil change and $1,200.00-$1,500 for food, so you can see we are working in a deficit, and it’s only by the grace that the Landlord has granted us on rent and utilities that we have been able to keep the doors open.
